Zero Tolerance 0562CF Hinderer
Zero Tolerance and Rick Hinderer teamed up to build the Zero Tolerance 0562CF with its exclusive Hinderer “slicer” grind. The CMP-20CV powdered steel blade with Hinderer’s “slicer” grind provides both slicing efficiency and a tough point. CPM-20CV powdered steel has virtually no nonmetallic inclusions. This means it offers an extremely uniform distribution of carbides for high wear and corrosion resistance. Zero Tolerance sharpens it to a hair popping edge and the CPM-20CV steel ensures it holds that edge for a long time, even under hard use. The handle has a carbon fiber front side and a titanium framelock design backside. The knife opens with a flipper and moves out of the handle on our smooth KVT ball-bearing opening system. A washer with caged ball bearings surrounds the pivot and makes opening the knife nearly frictionless; just pull back on the flipper and add a roll of the wrist and the Zero Tolerance 0562CF is ready for action. The handle has a carbon fiber scale in front and a stonewashed titanium back. For secure lock up during use, ZT uses a frame lock with hardened steel lock bar inserts and lock bar stabilization so the lock won’t overextend. The unique pocket clip is reversible (left/right) and enables extra-deep carry in the pocket.
CPM-20CV Steel: CPM-20CV is a unique tool steel made by the Crucible Particle Metallurgy Process. It is a martensitic stainless steel with a high volume of vanadium carbides for exceptionally good wear resistance. CPM 20CV contains the highest amount of chromium of any high- vanadium stainless steel currently available.
