ProTech T505-F Tactical Response 5

The ProTech T505-F Tactical Response 5 is based off of the Tactical Response 4 model. It is smaller and more pocket friendly, and may be the perfect size automatic knife for pocket carry. This Tactical Response 5 model features a black finish feather textured 6061-T6 aluminum handle with blasted finish hardware. The blade is CPM-S35V steel with a stonewash finish and a plain edge. It incorporates a sliding safety on the front of the handle that keeps the blade locked up when not being used. This Tactical Response 5 model incorporates a steel glass breaker at the end of the handle. The Protech TR-5 is a whole new take on ProTech’s popular Tactical Response line, and is a knife that will not let you down. It fires hard, locks up like a rock, and feels great. The TR-5 has a black finish tip-up pocket clip. 

CPM-S35VN Steel: CPM S35VN is a quality stainless steel from Crucible Industries. Despite the high level of toughness in this steel, which usually diminishes a steel’s wear resistance, this steel does not lose out on a superior resistance to wear and chipping. Combined with carbon, the niobium carbides make the steel more effective in providing resistance to wear and edge chipping than if it were more dependent on chromium, which is the case with many other steels. The resulting edge holding ability of this steel is remarkable, ensuring S35VN steel to be a long lasting one.
