ProTech FF2101 FlyFather 2 Balisong

The ProTech FF2101 FlyFather 2 Balisong is collaboration Balisong design with Squid Industries. The two channel black finish aluminum handles use zen pin and bushing design construction and are machined and tuned by Squid Industries for a precision flipping experience. Satin hardware and a four poistion black finish short deep carry pocket clip complete the handle design. The spear point blade (ProTech Godfather style) is made with 154CM steel and has a satin finish. The ProTech FlyFather 2 is light and nimble and built to be used as much for EDC as it is for recreation use.

154CM Steel: 154CM steel is one of “better” steel varieties made for cutlery and other knife blades. It’s not a powder steel (CPM154 would be the powder version), but it’s a commonly used steel for a higher grade knife. It has an exceptionally good balance between three enviable attributes which are toughness, hardness and corrosion-resistance.
