ProTech 906-C Cocobolo Godfather

This ProTech 906-C Cocobolo Godfather knife has a spear point satin finish 154-CM steel blade with a plain edge. The handle is machined from solid black T6-6061 aluminum with cocobolo wood inlays, and has satin finish hardware, and a black finish stainless steel tip-up carry pocket clip. The 906-C Godfather has the influence of an original Italian “Stilletto” style auto knife with ProTech’s modern coil spring precision, and ProTech’s signature spear point style blade. The build, fit and finish of the Godfather is exceptional, something that is true of all ProTech knives.

154CM Steel: 154CM steel is one of “better” steel varieties made for cutlery and other knife blades. It’s not a powder steel (CPM154 would be the powder version), but it’s a commonly used steel for a higher grade knife. It has an exceptionally good balance between three enviable attributes which are toughness, hardness and corrosion-resistance.
