The  ProTech 5205 Malibu Flipper – Black incorporates a ball bearing pivot design which allows the blade to open silky smooth and fast…… the flipping action on the Malibu is outstanding! The blade locks up with the plunge lock (Button Lock). The handles are solid aluminum with a textured black finish and blasted hardware. The reverse tanto style blade is CPM-20CV steel with a stonewash finish that will easily handle all of your EDC tasks. Incorporates a black finish deep carry pocket clip. The ProTech Malibu is a fashionable flipper knife with every bit of precision you’ve come to expect from ProTech. It flies open with the flipper action, with no springs, so it’s legal in many places.

CPM-20CV Steel: CPM-20CV is a unique tool steel made by the Crucible Particle Metallurgy Process. It is a martensitic stainless steel with a high volume of vanadium carbides for exceptionally good wear resistance. CPM-20CV contains the highest amount of chromium of any high- vanadium stainless steel currently available.
