Microtech 225-1T Dirac-Tactical

The Microtech 225-1T Dirac-Tactical is the latest and most highly anticipated release from Microtech this year. The new Dirac double-action out the front auto model showcases Microtech’s first front-mounted firing trigger. The Microtech Dirac is slightly smaller than Microtech’s UTX-85 model, and larger than Microtech’s UTX-70 model. The 6061-T6 Aluminum custom designed handle has great ergonomics with a black anodized finish. The double edge dagger type blade is Bohler M390 steel and has a black finish. Black finish hardware, firing button, pocket clip, and glass breaker completes this perfect EDC model. Note: This a Tactical Model – All Black.

Bohler M390 Steel: Bohler M390 stainless steel is one of the recent wave of “super steels” heralded by knife makers all over the world. It has characteristics of high hardness and excellent corrosion resistance. This means you’re going to get a very fine edge that retains it sharpness even through hard use, with little to no patina. Introduced and manufactured by Bohler-Uddeholm, M390 is a powdered steel. Bohler’s specifications claim a Rockwell hardness of 60 – 62HRC, putting it in the higher echelon of stainless knife steels. M390 is called a “micro clean” steel and takes a mirror finish very well.
