Microtech 147-1BL Blue UTX-70

The Microtech 147-1BL Blue UTX-70 has been updated with a smooth contoured handle. It features the same great build but with a stylized modern update. The Aluminum handles have a blue anodized finish. The double edge dagger style blade is Carpenter CTS-204P or Bohler M390 steel with a black finish. Incorporates a glass breaker and a stainless steel (black finish) pocket clip.

The Microtech UTX-70 fires in and out automatically via the sliding firing button on the knife’s right side. The UTX-70 model is 70% the size of Microtech’s Ultratech, super small size (less than 6″ overall), and is perfect for EDC and concealed carry.

Carpenter CTS-204P Steel: CTS-204P is made by the USA-based Carpenter Technology Corporation. The unique combination of wear resistance, toughness, polish ability and corrosion resistance makes CTS 204P an excellent choice for knife blades. CTS-204P fine grained alloy is a popular choice for high end folders and small fixed blades with a working hardness up to 62HRC. It exhibits excellent performance with both, coarse and high polished edges.

Bohler M390 Steel: Bohler M390 is widely revered as being one of the best all-around knife steels, which has led top companies, and makers to widely utilize it in higher end knives. M390 exhibits excellent edge retention, corrosion resistance, and high level toughness.
