Microtech 1242-10 Cypher II

The Microtech 1242-10 Cypher II has significant upgrades compared to the original Microtech Cypher models. Features Microtech’s new Dual Fuel drive train that makes blade deployment and retraction super smooth. The handle is Black anodized aluminum with a screwless-hidden fastener design/construction, and a reversible tip down roller ball milled titanium pocket clip (Stonewash finish) that glides with ease in and out of your pocket. The Double Edge Dagger style blade is Bohler M390MK steel with a Stonewash finish.

Bohler M390MK Steel: Bohler M390MK is an exclusive steel to Microtech Knives through Bohler. Microtech worked closely with the engineers at Bohler to tweak the properties of M390 for better edge retention, corrosion resistance, and polishing. It has a more controlled and higher carbon content which lends itself to more consistent heat treat and a few other advantages. It’s still M390, with tweaked carbon content modifications.
