Microtech 122-13PU Purple-Bronze Blade Ultratech

The Microtech 122-13PU Purple-Bronze Blade Ultratech features a double edge dagger blade with both the upper and lower edge having a standard (non-serrated) edge. The Bronze finish blade is Carpenter CTS-204P or Bohler M390 steel. This Ultratech features a Purple anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handle, bronze finish pocket clip, glass breaker, and hardware that matches the blade finish. Note: This is Microtech’s newest Ultratech model that features the “Contoured Chassis”, and the improved, more user-friendly glass breaker.

Carpenter CTS-204P Steel: CTS-204P is made by the USA-based Carpenter Technology Corporation. The unique combination of wear resistance, toughness, polishability and corrosion resistance makes CTS 204P an excellent choice for knife blades. CTS-204P fine grained alloy is a popular choice for high end folders and small fixed blades with a working hardness up to 62HRC. It exhibts excellent performance with both, coarse and high polished edges.

Bohler M390 Steel: Bohler M390 is widely revered as being one of the best all-around knife steels, which has led top companies, and makers to widely utilize it in higher end knives. Bohler M390 exhibits excellent edge retention, corrosion resistance, and high level toughness.
