Microtech 121-2T Tactical Ultratech

The Microtech 121-2T Tactical Ultratech features a drop point blade that has a partially serrated edge. The black finished blade is either Carpenter CTS-204P or Bohler M390 Steel. The black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handle features Microtech’s Tactical black finish pocket clip, glass breaker, and hardware. Microtech equipped this Ultratech D/A OTF knife with a smooth, contoured handle (chassis) design that promotes increased comfort during use. This updated model provides the same dimensions, hardware, and durability offered in the “Tri-Grip” models, but it is easier on the hands, and pants pockets.

Carpenter CTS-204P Steel: CTS-204P is made by the USA-based Carpenter Technology Corporation. The unique combination of wear resistance, toughness, polish ability and corrosion resistance makes CTS 204P an excellent choice for knife blades. CTS-204P fine grained alloy is a popular choice for high end folders and small fixed blades with a working hardness up to 62HRC. It exhibits excellent performance with both, coarse and high polished edges.

Bohler M390 Steel: Bohler M390 is widely revered as being one of the best all-around knife steels, which has led top companies, and makers to widely utilize it in higher end knives. Bohler M390 exhibits excellent edge retention, corrosion resistance, and high level toughness.
