Hinderer XM-18 3.5 Working Finish Slicer (Hollow Grind)-Orange G-10

The Hinderer XM-18 3.5 Working Finish Slicer (Hollow Grind)-Orange G-10 is the combination of over 25 years of old world knife making craftsmanship combined with modern 3D design and CNC technology. The result is a folder that performs like a fixed blade and has become one of the benchmarks in the hard use folder category. This XM-18 3.5″ model features a 3.5″ Hollow Grind Slicer blade (CPM-20CV Steel) with Hinderer’s Working finish. The front handle is textured Orange G-10 that provides a dependable grip. The titanium framelock side features the patented Hinderer Lockbar Stabilizer (LBS) which prevents over torquing of the lockbar which can happen under stress. The titanium framelock side has Hinderer’s Working finish.

CPM-20CV Steel: CPM-20CV is a unique tool steel made by the Crucible Particle Metallurgy Process. It is a martensitic stainless steel with a high volume of vanadium carbides for exceptionally good wear resistance. CPM-20CV contains the highest amount of chromium of any high- vanadium stainless steel currently available.

This XM-18 model incorporates Hinderer’s new Tri-Way pivot system which allows you to configure your XM-18 further than ever before! The system lets the end-user configure their knife’s pivot system to their own personal preference, with choice of bearing, teflon washers or bronze phosphor washers. Simply disassemble the knife, and install whichever option suits your needs!
