The Hinderer XM-18 3.5 Battle Blue Skinny Harpoon Spanto Magnacut-Black is the combination of over 25 years of old world knife making craftsmanship combined with modern 3D design and CNC technology. The result is a folder that performs like a fixed blade and has become one of the benchmarks in the hard use folder category. This XM-18 has a 3.5″ skinny harpoon spanto blade that uses CPM-Magnacut steel with Hinderer’s Working finish. The front handle is textured Black G-10 that provides a dependable grip. The titanium framelock side features the patented Hinderer Lockbar Stabilizer (LBS) which prevents over torquing of the lockbar which can happen under stress. It has Hinderer’s Battle Blue finish.

The XM-18 3.5 Skinny Slicer incorporates the Tri-Way pivot system which allows you to configure your XM-18 further than ever before! The system lets the end-user configure their knife’s pivot system to their own personal preference, with choice of bearing, teflon washers or bronze phosphor washers. Simply disassemble the knife, and install whichever option suits your needs!

CPM-MAGNACUT Steel: CPM-Magnacut is a unique powder metallurgy stainless tool steel with a design which eliminates chromium carbide in the heat treated microstructure. An excellent combination of toughness and
wear resistance is achieved by having only small, high hardness, vanadium and niobium carbides, giving CPM Magnacut properties similar to non-stainless steel CPM 4V. Being free from chromium carbide also leads to improved corrosion resistance. This product offers an excellent combination of properties for knives.
