Hinderer XM-18 3.0 Skinner – OD Green

The Hinderer XM-18 3.0 Skinner – OD Green is the combination of over 25 years of old world knife making craftsmanship combined with modern 3D design and CNC technology. The result is a folder that performs like a fixed blade and has become one of the benchmarks in the hard use folder category. This XM-18 has a 3.0″ skinner blade that uses CPM-20CV steel with a stonewash finish. The front handle is textured OD Green G-10 that provides a dependable grip. The titanium framelock side features the patented Hinderer Lockbar Stabilizer (LBS) which prevents over torquing of the lockbar which can happen under stress. The framelock side has a stonewash finish.

Features Hinderer’s new Tri-Way pivot system which allows you to configure your XM-18 further than ever before! The system lets the end-user configure their knife’s pivot system to their own personal preference, with choice of bearing, teflon washers or bronze phosphor washers. Simply disassemble the knife, and install whichever option suits your needs!

CPM-20CV Steel: CPM-20CV is a unique tool steel made by the Crucible Particle Metallurgy Process. It is a martensitic stainless steel with a high volume of vanadium carbides for exceptionally good wear resistance. CPM 20CV contains the highest amount of chromium of any high- vanadium stainless steel currently available.
