Hinderer Eklipse 3.5″ Slicer HG-Stonewash-Black G-10

The Hinderer Eklipse 3.5″ Slicer HG-Stonewash-Black G-10 is the combination of over 25 years of old world knife making craftsmanship combined with modern 3D design and CNC technology. The Eklipse is known the world over as one of the toughest tactical folders regardless of your mission. Rick’s focus when designing the Eklipse was a no nonsense tactical tool ready for the simplest cutting tasks to high speed low drag operations. The Eklipse has a 3.5″ CNC Hollow Ground Slicer blade that offers the best of both worlds offering maximum cutting potential in a blade. The blade thickness is a full .165″, and can handle the toughest cutting chores. This Eklipse has a 3.5″ Hollow Ground Slicer blade (CPM-S45VN steel) with a Stonewash finish. The front handle is textured Black G-10 that provides a dependable grip. The titanium framelock side features the patented Hinderer Lockbar Stabilizer (LBS) which prevents over torquing of the lockbar which can happen under stress. The titanium framelock side has a Stonewash finish.

CPM-S45VN Steel: CPM-S45VN is a quality stainless steel from Crucible Industries. Despite the high level of toughness in this steel, which usually diminishes a steel’s wear resistance, this steel does not lose out on a superior resistance to wear and chipping. Combined with carbon, the niobium carbides make the steel more effective in providing resistance to wear and edge chipping than if it were more dependent on chromium, which is the case with many other steels. The resulting edge holding ability of this steel is remarkable, ensuring S45VN steel to be a long lasting one.

This Eklipse features Hinderer’s Tri-Way pivot system which allows you to configure your Eklipse further than ever before! The system lets the end-user configure their knife’s pivot system to their own personal preference, with choice of bearing, teflon washers or bronze phosphor washers. Simply disassemble the knife, and install whichever option suits your needs!
