Benchmade 9400BK-03 Osborne Automatic

The Benchmade 9400BK-03 Osborne Automatic is based off the original Benchmade 940 Osborne design. The Benchmade 9400 maintains the styling and dimensions that made the original 940 an iconic EDC design. This new Benchmade 9400 model is as true to form as it gets, despite the addition of a button lock auto mechanism. It doesn’t have to be tactical to be practical, and this knife screams practicality. This Benchmade 9400 Osborne model features a burnt copper anodized 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum handle. The reverse tanto style blade is CPM-Magnacut steel with a DLC blackwash finish. The reverse tanto blade gives you the versatility of a clip point blade with the added tip strength of a tanto. A tip up ambidextrous pocket clip completes this awesome EDC design.

CPM-MAGNACUT Steel: CPM-MagnaCut is a unique powder metallurgy stainless tool steel with a design which eliminates chromium carbide in the heat treated microstructure. An excellent combination of toughness and
wear resistance is achieved by having only small, high hardness, vanadium and niobium carbides, giving CPM MagnaCut properties similar to non-stainless steel CPM 4V. Being free from chromium carbide also leads to improved corrosion resistance. This product offers an excellent combination of properties for knives.
