Benchmade 865-02 Mini Bedlam

The Benchmade 865-02 Mini Bedlam is a fierce looking tactical folder, pared-down in size for more practical daily carry while keeping the tactical look and feel of its full-size counterpart. Boasting premium CPM-S90V blade steel with a Satin finish, the upswept scimitar blade shape is optimized for hooking and slicing. The marbled carbon fiber handle features aggressive textures that flow with the curvature of the handle for a superior grip through quick movements and bigger cutting tasks. The 865-02 Mini Bedlam is finished with black oxide and dark copper PVD hardware and a chamfered copper PVD backspacer, providing a unique and superior grip texture that flows with the curvature of the handle. Complete with a reliable manual AXIS (Cross Bar) lock mechanism, and a copper PVD finished tip up pocket clip.

CPM-S90V Steel: CPM-S90V steel is well known for its wear-resistance. According to Crucible, S90V is used in plastic feed screws, valve components, nozzles, slitters, cutters, gear pumps, pelletizing equipment, bearings, and other hard use parts. In the knifemaking world, S90V is legendary for its near perfect edge-retention. It is close to impossible to dull a blade made of CPM S90V. That being said, you need the patience of a saint to sharpen it, however infrequent that may be. S90V is in the upper echelon of knifemaking “super steels”, as is evident by the hefty price tag that accompanies the knives to which it adorns.
