Benchmade 585 Mini Barrage

The 585 Mini Barrage AXIS spring assisted knife features the AXIS Assist locking mechanism that offers quick, one-handed opening and can be operated equally with either hand. This Osborne design has a 154CM stainless steel drop point blade with a plain edge. The satin finish blade is incredibly durable. The 585 Mini Barrage handle is durable as well as comfortable. It is designed to fit in your hand the right way. Incorporates a safety on the spine of the handle that prevents unintentional blade collapse and blade deployment. The Benchmade 585 Mini Barrage also has a tip-up reversible pocket clip.

154CM Steel: 154CM steel is one of “better” steel varieties made for cutlery and other knife blades. It’s not a powder steel (CPM154 would be the powder version), but it’s a commonly used steel for a higher grade knife.  It has an exceptionally good balance between three enviable attributes which are toughness, hardness and corrosion-resistance.
