The Benchmade 5371BK-01 Shootout OTF automatic knife is a lightweight and affordable OTF auto. It features an OD Green CF-Elite handle, a carbon fiber-filled nylon(with texture) that increases rigidity. The drop point style blade is CPM-CruWear steel with a black finish. Features a Carbide glass breaker, and a reversible pocket clip. Made in the USA and stocked full of features and premium materials, the 5371BK-01 Shootout packs a punch.

CPM-CruWear Steel: CPM-Cruwear steel is an air hardening tool steel that offers a balance between toughness, hardness and wear resistance its made by Crucible Industries. Designed as an CPM upgrade to conventional CruWear and D2, it offers better wear resistance, much greater toughness and higher attainable hardness , because CPM CRUWEAR is made as CPM. It will resist chipping and breakage more so than most conventionally made tool steels. It is used for knife blades and a wide variety of demanding tooling applications.
