The Benchmade 537-2301 Bailout – Limited Edition is a 2023 Limited Edition model from Benchmade. It is a lightweight, slim, and pocket friendly tactical folder that weighs in at just 2.7 ounces. The orange anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handles have great ergonomics, and grip. The tanto style blade is tough CPM-3V steel that provides a tough cutting edge with excellent retention. The CPM-3V blade has a satin finish. It features an extended blue finish aluminum pommel with a lanyard slot, and a reversible deep carry black finish pocket clip. CPM-3V Steel: CPM-3V steel is bred for toughness. It is an American powdered steel made by Crucible Industries in Syracuse, New York. It is used in situations where tool breakage by impact is a concern. CPM-3V is one of the newer “super steel’s” that utilize the Crucible Particle Metallurgy process. This is designed to provide maximum resistance to breakage and chipping in a highly wear-resistant and shock-resistant steel. CPM-3V is NOT a stainless steel, you will be required to take care of it as such.
