Benchmade 4300 CLA

The Benchmade 4300 CLA (Composite Lite Auto), is Benchmade’s first G-10 automatic knife. It’s a great all-purpose mid-sized auto knife with a drop-point blade (154CM steel with a satin finish), and ultra-smooth black G-10 handle scales. It incorporates enlarged actuation (push) button, and a built in safety in the handle. The CLA is a quick deployment automatic knife that is sized for everyday carry, and provides the performance professionals expect from Benchmade Knives.

154CM Steel: 154CM steel is one of “better” steel varieties made for cutlery and other knife blades. It’s not a powder steel (CPM154 would be the powder version), but it’s a commonly used steel for a higher grade knife. It has an exceptionally good balance between three enviable attributes which are toughness, hardness and corrosion-resistance.
