ADV Tactical Ronin BL Black-Carbon Fiber Inlay

The ADV Tactical Ronin BL Black-Carbon Fiber Inlay is collaboration between ADV Tactical and Rike Knives. Rike knives builds the knife, then Andre customizes, and finishes them in South Africa. It features Andre De Villiers distinctive design style and Rike’s clean production quality.  This model has a titanium handle with a black finish, and marble carbon fiber inlays. The modified clip point blade is Bohler M390 steel with a Black DLC finish. The squared off jimping on the thumb ramp is highly functional and really gives this knife a solid, sure grip. The action is very smooth, and the wicked blade flies open using the flipper tab. Previous Ronin models were frame lock designs, but Andre took his impressive Ronin design and added a button lock.

Bohler M390 Steel: Bohler M390 stainless steel is one of the recent wave of “super steels” heralded by knife makers all over the world. It has characteristics of high hardness and excellent corrosion resistance. This means you’re going to get a very fine edge that retains it sharpness even through hard use, with little to no patina. Introduced and manufactured by Bohler-Uddeholm, M390 is a powdered steel. Bohler’s specifications claim a Rockwell hardness of 60 – 62HRC, putting it in the higher echelon of stainless knife steels. M390 is called a “micro clean” steel and takes a mirror finish very well.
